30 years ago Porsche introduced a limited series of 911, 924 and 928 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche company. The 911 and 928 came in "meteormetallic" painting with a bordeaux red interior. The 924 has a "zinnmetallic" exterior and black interior. Seats and door panels wear an exclusiv pinstripe look. The headrest are embroidered with a "F. Porsche" sign. The carpet set came in light beige.

Minichamps 1/18 Porsche 924 damn hot!
today I took my new e**y found out to a photo session. The model introduced 2004 and come in 3 different version. This red one, a silver version and an "Autobahn" police car. The two civil versions are sold out in toy stores. Sometimes you can find them "pre owned".

Congratulation buddy, 200.000 km!
Sorry for the bad quality. Shot was made on the Autobahn back from the vintage car show in Hildesheim.
Technorama Hildesheim 2011
Today was a sunny day in lower saxony. This took me to a cruise to the vintage car show to Hildesheim near Hannover. Nice to see two other Porsche 924. They are now in the move from daily driver to collectors car.

day 3 after changing fuel pump relais
After I changed the ignition switch I was sure to fixed the problem. But damn, the engine still dies during driving. Favored places are crossroads. So, I took the next step and changed the fuel pump relais. Part number in the 924S catalog is 993-615-227-00. The relais has easy plug in contacts. For better handling uncrew the upper fuse-holder to change the relais. Since I changed the relais 3 days ago the engine runs without the "dead on crossroad" issue.
If you still have the owner's manual it is easy to locate the relais.
It is position II on the picture
In reality it looks like this under your dashboard
new relais
old relais
